Throughout its more than hundred-year history, the Congregation has contributed, and continues to contribute, to promoting health and life.

In line with the Hospitaller spirit that combines “science and charity” and a permanent commitment to improving our care, we welcome research and scientific progress as means of finding new cures and improving the quality of care that we provide to our patients, particularly in the area of mental health.

We contribute, through basic and applied research projects, to furthering both the quantity and quality of scientific knowledge, to a better understanding of the physio-pathological processes that underlie illness and, consequently, the effective optimisation of healthcare processes.
