‘Will personalised medicine be the future of mental health?’

 

On 28 October, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. (local time in Italy), Sisters Hospitallers will hold a Social Debate Forum, organised by the General Communications Committee. During the event, internationally renowned experts will share their thoughts on the role of personalised medicine in psychiatry. 

So that all people interested in the topic can participate around the world, it will be live streamed through a microsite created for this forum, which can also be accessed from the general web page www.hospitalarias.org

Speakers

This discussion forum, designed to be a place of meeting, dialogue and reflection, will feature the following speakers:

  • THOMAS E. SCHLAEPFER. President of the Division of Interventional Biological Psychiatry at University Medical Centre Freiburg (Germany)

Moderated by Prof. GIAMPAOLO PERNA, director of the Department of Clinical Neuroscience at the Sisters Hospitallers Villa San Benedetto Menni centre in Milan, Italy, they will discuss the personalisation of care in routine clinical practice and the future of this increasingly widespread and deeply rooted approach.
